Terms of Service
Effective October 16, 2026
Welcome to KXApp. These terms are an agreement between you and Dongguan Xingqiao Puai Information Technology Co., Ltd. ("we") covering your use of the KXApp VS Code extension and this website. By installing or using the extension you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use it. Please pay particular attention to the disclaimer and limitation of liability in bold.
1. Scope
These terms cover the KXApp VS Code extension and its updates (the "Extension"), this website, and the documentation provided with them (together, the "Services"). The Privacy Policy is part of these terms.
2. Free license
- The Extension is free. We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on your own computers to develop, debug, test and ship apps for yourself or your organization, for personal or commercial purposes.
- You can get the Extension from the VS Code Marketplace, Open VSX or this website, and you may pass the unmodified package on to others, but not for a fee.
- The Extension is licensed, not sold. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in these terms.
3. Restrictions
You may not, and may not help anyone else to:
- Sell or rent the Extension, or publish a modified version as if it were the official one.
- Remove or obscure copyright or trademark notices in the Extension.
- Use the Extension or this website for unlawful purposes, or interfere with the website's operation.
4. Xcode and third-party software
The Extension works by running third-party software installed on your computer, such as Xcode, Ruby gems and SourceKit-LSP. That software is provided by its own owners, and your use of it is governed by their licenses, such as Apple's Xcode and Apple SDKs Agreement. You are responsible for making sure your use of that software complies with its license terms.
5. Your content
Your source code, projects and the apps you build with the Extension belong to you. The Extension processes them only on your computer, and we acquire no rights in them. You are responsible for the apps you develop and publish, including compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.
6. Changes to the Extension
We keep improving the Extension and may add, change or remove features, or stop updating it. Because the Extension is free, we are not liable for such changes, but we'll try to announce them in advance on this website or in the release notes.
7. Disclaimer
The Extension and this website are provided free of charge "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't guarantee that the Extension is error-free or uninterrupted. Use version control or keep backups before editing project files.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Services, including lost data, damaged projects or lost profits. This doesn't exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of law rules. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute amicably; failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent people's court where we are located.
10. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms and will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
