Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Dongguan Xingqiao Puai Information Technology Co., Ltd. ("we") handles when you use the KXApp VS Code extension and this website (together, the "Services"), and how you can manage it.

The short version.

  • The extension needs no account and never asks you to sign in.
  • Your source code, project files and build logs stay on your computer. The extension doesn't upload them.
  • The extension collects no usage statistics and sends no crash reports.
  • We don't sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

This policy applies together with the Terms of Service.

1. The extension

  • Runs locally. Building, running, debugging, code completion and the editors all run on your Mac, using the Xcode and tools you installed.
  • Sends nothing to us. The extension doesn't send your code, projects, devices or usage to us.
  • Third-party connections. Xcode contacts Apple's servers as usual when signing apps and preparing devices for debugging. When you choose to install a Ruby gem, a Swift toolchain or project dependencies, they download from their official sources. These connections go directly between your computer and those parties and are governed by their privacy policies.
  • Extension marketplaces. When you install or update the extension from the VS Code Marketplace or Open VSX, that marketplace handles the related data under its own privacy policy.

2. This website

  • Access logs. Like most websites, the server logs your IP address, browser identifier, the pages you visit and when, to keep the site secure and fix problems.
  • Information you give us. The name, email address and message you send through the contact form or by email are used only to reply to you.
  • Cookies. The site uses a single cookie to remember your language. It uses no advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear or block it in your browser settings.

3. GitHub

Issues and discussions you post on GitHub are public, so please don't paste keys, certificates or other sensitive information there. GitHub handles that content under its own privacy policy.

4. Sharing and storage

  • We don't sell your personal information. We disclose it only as required by law, legal proceedings or competent authorities, and only as far as necessary.
  • The website runs on servers from a cloud provider; access logs and contact form messages are stored in mainland China. If you visit from outside mainland China, that information is transferred to mainland China for processing.
  • Access logs are deleted regularly; contact records are kept for no more than two years after they are handled.

5. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the information you gave us through the contact form or by email. Email admin@kxapp.com and we'll reply within 15 business days. If you're not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

6. Children

The Services are meant for developers, not for children under 14 (under 16 in the EEA and the UK).

7. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If the way the extension handles information changes significantly, we'll say so in advance in the extension's release notes and on this website.
